WVC RubixCloud Accounting Manager (Remote)
Responsibilities:
WVC RubixCloud is seeking a qualified Accounting Manager to become a member of our client accounting and advisory services team. A successful candidate will be able to provide accounting guidance and correction of accounting transactions, to supervise a team, and work autonomously as needed. This position will also benefit from someone who has project management experience.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly oversight of accurate and timely processing of financial data and reporting
- Provide client assistance, as needed, to manage outgoing bills and invoices and outstanding accounts payable
- Supervision and management of Client Service Specialists of day-to-day transactional processing and bank account reconciliations
- Preparation of non-bank account reconciliations
- Review of General Ledger for missing transactions and overall accuracy
- Management of weekly “open items” and “to-be-coded” lists
- Monthly review of financial statement reporting package
- Interact with clients to obtain and disseminate financial information
- Manage and assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance reporting efficiency while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Recommend, manage, and assist in the continual business transformation of client’s back-office processes utilizing procedures, workflows, and technology partners
- Managing multiple clients in select industries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of relevant prior accounting experience either in public, or corporate setting, with demonstrated ability to manage a team
- Broad financial, analytical, and business acumen and structured problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial statement deliverables
- Self-starter with sharp decision-making skills, ability to multi-task, work independently, prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, and have the ability to meet established deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence both internal team members and external clients
- Ability to manage and/or participate in multiple concurrent projects and clients
- Strong skills in MS Office and ability to embrace technology
- • Familiarity with any of the following cloud-based accounting systems is preferred:
- R365, Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, TeamWork
Schedule: Full-time with flexible hours
Work Location: Remote with some requirement to be in attendance at quarterly in-person meetings
